
The beta is limited in numbers, but if you're keen to give it a go you can apply here, submitting your UDID or IMEI number and those of three friends (you have to have people to test it with obviously). In the meantime, if you haven't tried fring, it allows both free video and VoIP calls between fring users over 3G or Wi-Fi, and even has fringOut should you want to call a landline or other non-fring number. The app is available for iOS, Android and even Symbian.
