Amazon started shipping on Thursday its big-screen tablet, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9. The 4G LTE version of the same tablet will take another week to debut.
The Kindle Fire HD 8.9 -- which, as the name implies, sports an 8.9-inch screen -- starts at $299 for 16GB of storage.
